Description:
3.0805 is a filler metal made from pure aluminum (99.5%). Because of the titanium content (0.15%), the mechanical properties of the welding additive are increased. The 3.0805 filler wire shows resistance to hot cracking and has excellent general corrosion resistance. The weld metal also has good flow properties. Larger workpieces and sheets with a thickness of more than 15mm should be preheated to 150°C.
The 3.0805 welding wire is suitable for joint welding on pure aluminium. Important base materials are:
3.0205, 3.0255, 3.0257, 3.0275, 3.0285
