Description:
3.3556 is an aluminium-magnesium alloy filler metal. The magnesium content is approx. 5%. The 3.3556 welding wire has high strength and is extremely resistant to corrosion and sea water. The weld metal is very resistant to media containing chloride and provides excellent mechanical properties. Larger workpieces and sheets with a thickness of more than 15mm should be preheated to 150°C.
