Description:
3.2245 is an aluminium-silicon alloy filler metal. The silicon content is 5%. The 3.2245 welding wire is insensitive to hot cracks and is suitable for anodizing. Untreated, it has low strength values. Larger workpieces and sheets with a thickness of more than 15mm should be preheated to 150 to 200°C.
The 3.2245 welding wire is suitable for joint welding on aluminium-silicon alloys and aluminum cast alloys up to approx. 7%Si. Important base materials are:
